Before an Activity Template may Before an activity template can be used to process a logistics event, it must first pass validation. This This ensures there are enough Assetsassets, Workersworkers, and Positions positions within the system to satisfy the template.
This process will also cross-validate validates the constraints of each object, the Activity Template activity template itself, and the associated Activity Masteractivity master.
There must be at least one item for each Logistics Type included logistics type included in the Activity Template activity template, and this item must be able to pass each constraint affecting it.Attributes Form_0
Validation Form
When attempting to validate an activity template, you can view the results on the Validation Results form.
This form contains three main sections of information, going from left to right:
- Logistics Types – Lists all Logistics Types assigned to the Activity Template
- Constraints – Lists all the Constraints affecting the select Logistics Type
- Resources – Lists all resources of the selected Logistics Type, also lists validity of each resource

Like previous forms of Validation, the Validation Results form will highlight the Logistics Type responsible for an invalid test. This should help the user pinpoint the exact cause of an invalid result more efficiently. |
