You can switch between operation-related addresses and customer-related addresses, as desired.
Logistics Execution > Common > All Logistics Orders > New
If the desired address is not in D365, click the plus button next to the Name field to create a one-time address. The new address is added to the customer for the associated logistics order.

Once the logistics order header is saved (or the lines are saved), you cannot edit the address directly. You will have to must use the Change Address action.
