The Alert Type configuration allows you to set up individual alerts.
Click Click New Alert Type to create an alert type.
Click Edit to update an existing alert type.
FIELD | DESCRIPTION |
Name | Enter the name of the alert type. |
Description | Enter a detailed description for the alert type. |
Manual Alert | Select whether this is a manual alert (not event triggered). A manual alert can be used for general notifications (e.g., system going down for maintenance). |
On By Default | Select whether you want this alert type on by default. |
Recipient | Select an option to control whether the internal contact, external contact (trading partner contact), or both are notified when the alert fires. |
Business Transaction Type | Select the business transaction type for the alert. |
Action Link | This non-editable field affects navigation when clicking an alert through the bell icon on the top navigation bar. |
Event Triggered | Select whether the alert type is available when configuring work flow details. |
