A user must be created in the D365 environment in order for an employee to use the desktop version or mobile app.

Create a User- Navigate to the Users form in the Logistics Execution module.
- Click New at the top of the page to open the New Record form.
- In the User Details section, enter a user ID (best practice is first initial + last name), user name, and email address.
Turn on the Enable toggle to ensure the user is enabled.
Click Save.

Assign RolesNow that the user has been created, you can assign roles. - Click Assign roles in the User's roles section to open a flyout window displaying a list of preconfigured D365 roles to choose from.
- Select the correct role(s) from the list and click OK to assign the role(s) to the user.

Create an Associated Worker in Transport + Deliver Create an associated worker in Transport + Deliver to connect to the Deliver application. This relationship is at the core of the application's touchpoints to the front end of D365. The worker ties the user to Transport + Deliver to complete processes. - Click New Worker at the top of the newly created user form.
- This opens the Create new worker flyout window.
- Fill in the First name and Last name fields.
Select the Logistics Type, Parent Operation, and Home Operation from the drop-down lists. Info |

| The Logistics Type selected for the worker determines what activity types the worker is eligible to pair to (i.e., a dock worker cannot be paired to an activity as a driver). |
- Turn on the Relate to User toggle to tie the worker to the user.
- Click Hire new worker.
