Validation

Validation ensures that the schedule will function appropriately once executed as an activity.

Attempts to build the activity schedule when invalid will produce an error.

Similar to other forms of validation, if an activity schedule returns an invalid test result, the responsible entity is highlighted within the Logistics Type grid, all associated constraints populate the Constraints grid, and the perpetrating constraint is highlighted.

Before an invalid activity schedule can be put into effect, all validation errors must be resolved.

Recurrence

The Recurrence function allows you to service recurring orders (e.g., scheduled standing orders).

Use the Recurrence flyout window to configure the standing order by starting date and time, end date, and recurrence pattern.

This functionality utilizes base Microsoft Dynamics 365 recurrence framework.
