Global order promising > Maintain > Demand validation exception
When the demand validation fails for a demand line, a demand validation exception record is created. If the Demand validation action on the policy validation is set to 'Warn', an exception record is created but is already bypassed (not actionable). If the validation action is set to 'Restrict', the exception will be actionable (can be Enforced or Bypassed).

The form initially filters to only show pending actionable items.
The user responsible for handling the validation exceptions can filter as needed, select the appropriate rows to resolve, and can press either the 'Enforce validation' or 'Bypass validation' buttons at the top of the form. If either button is pressed, the Action performed / Action performed date time / Action selected by user fields will be updated.
If 'Enforce validation' is pressed, after a confirmation prompt, the system will update the order lines and set the delivery remainder to zero. This will keep the lines from being fulfilled.
If 'Bypass validation' is pressed, the channel demand should be updated to be valid (assuming there isn't other 'unapproved' validation exceptions for the demand) and will be able to proceed with reservation and fulfillment.
