Logistics Execution > Setup > Workers > Users
For an employee to use the desktop version or mobile app, a User must be created in the D365 environment. To create a User, navigate to the Users form in the Setup section of the Logistics Execution module, and then select New at the top of the screen. This will open the New Record form in Users.

On the User Details Fast Tab, add a User ID (best practice is first initial then last name), a User Name, and an email address. Finally, toggle the Enabled switch to "Yes" to ensure the User is enabled. Once this information is added, select Save in the upper left-hand corner.

Now that the user has been created, roles will need to be assigned to the user. On the User's Roles Fast Tab, select the "+ Assign Roles" button. This will bring up a list of pre-configured D365 roles on the right side of the screen to choose from. Find the correct role(s) from the list, select that record and select OK to add the role(s) to the user.

For the user to connect to the Deliver application, an associated worker must be created in AXLE. This relationship is at the core of the application's touchpoints to the front end of D365. The Worker is what actually ties the User to AXLE and allows them to complete processes. While on the newly created User's form, select the "New Worker" button at the top of the screen. The Create New Worker form pops out from the right side of the screen.

On the Create New Worker form, fill in the First Name and Last Name fields. Additionally, select the Logistics Type, Parent Operation, and Home Operation from the drop-down menu. Finally, toggle the Relate to User switch to Yes so the Worker is tied to the User. The Logistics Type that is selected for the worker will determine what types of Activities the worker will be eligible to pair to (i.e. a Dock Worker can't be paired to an Activity as a Driver).
