Tags are used to stop shipments; however, they can be set up to change status and inventory.

Tags are designed to behave in a similar way that Hold Codes perform for Sales Orders. They prevent progress. They can be designed to affect either the status of Handling Units or the status of Logistics Orders.

Logistics Execution > Setup > Tags

Once setup is complete, both tag types can be applied from the Logistics Order Header form.

After a tag is applied, the Logistics Order or Handling Unit status will change.

There is no limit to how many Tags a user can apply.

When stacking Tags, the Logistics Order or Handling Unit status will not revert to its original status until the first status-affecting Tag is removed.

If a Tag Applied Status and Tag Applied Inventory Status are configurations under Operation Parameters.
