When a Logistics Order is created it is automatically paired with a Phantom Activity. Although technically an Activity, it functions in a different manner. Phantom Activities are used to track Actions that may occur before regular Activities are paired or executed. In this manner Actions can still be recorded without pairing the Logistics Order to an Activity.

Example: Prior to loading the truck, a load builder needs to move several Handling Units from Position A0001 to Position A0002 at the facility. Rather than creating an Activity to execute the Locate action, the load builder can use the Phantom Activity to move the Handling Units. This Action will be tracked in the Activity History form under the Phantom Activity.
