Transport + Deliver activity groups occur at the activity level. They are created at the point of dispatch.

Once activity groups are turned on with operation parameters, you can manually group activities or automatically group activities according to activity origin.

Use activity groups to combine activities for reporting functions.

Manual

If you select the Manual Activity Mode, Activities can be grouped together manually.

Once an Activity has been dispatched and automatically assigned an Activity Group ID, the user can select an Open Activity and click the Add to Activity Group button to consolidate the Activities into a single Activity Group.

In an equivalent manner, a user can click the Remove from Activity Group button to release an Activity from a particular Activity Group.

Origin

If the user selects the Origin Activity Mode, Activities will automatically combine into Activity Groups based on the Origin/Destination of Activities.

The Activities will only consolidate if the Worker executing them is the same.

The Worker's Home Facility dictates the beginning and end of the Activity Group.

Example

Stephen Mech is working out of the Ukiah Facility (Home Facility). He conducts an Activity from Ukiah to Santa Rosa, then returns. The Activity Group ends there because he has arrived back at his Home Facility. As both Activities were completed by the same Worker (Stephen Mech), and were connected via the ACME SANTA ROSA Facility, they were automatically placed under the same Activity Group.
