Demand channel designation templates detail out which channels should be evaluated and in what order they should be evaluated for assignment when the demand designation process runs.

If you want to assign different channels at different times, they can be grouped together accordingly and scheduled as desired.

Delay demand designation

Turn on this toggle to lock the demand designation job. 

When locked, orders cannot be added to the designation run mid-process; the designation run will only consider demand created prior to the kickoff of the run.

This automatically delays demand to the next designation run instead of deprioritizing it in the current run.

Note

  • These should be set up from most specific to least specific.
  • Make sure edit filter queries are configured properly so demand hits the desired channel. If you have a channel with no filter query listed first, all demand will hit that channel.

Important

The order of demand channel designation templates has no impact on reservation priority; demand designation templates and reservation templates behave independently of each other.
