Reservation Template
Global order promising > Setup > Reservation template
Reservation templates detail out which channels should be considered and the sequence to process them in when the reservation process runs.
If you want to process reservations for different channels at different times, they can be grouped together accordingly and scheduled/sequenced as desired.

Reservation Template ID | Unique identifier for the reservation template. |
Description | Detailed description of the reservation template. |
Budget | |
Disable channel safety nets | Turn on this toggle to disable Channel Safety Net processing when this template is run. This is useful when you need to ignore the safety nets and reserve everything possible. |
Reservation Time Fence | |
Override time fence | Controls whether the defined channel reservation time fence is overridden. |
Number of days past due | Number of days to look back for demand to reserve based on ship date (overridden value). |
Number of lead days | Number of days to look forward for demand to reserve based on ship date (overridden value). |
Allow item substitution | Turn on this toggle to consider item substitution during the reservation run. |
Ignore receipts during reservation run | Turn on this toggle to ignore inbound inventory receipts during reservation run. Any inventory received after the start date time of the run is not considered when attempting to reserve for demand lines. This prevents lower-priority demand lines from being assigned inventory that is received after a higher-priority line claims an inventory shortage. Note: Changes made to this toggle mid-run will not take effect until the next reservation run. |

Demand order type | Order type of the specific channel. |

Full order line reservation | Turn on this toggle to require a full order line reservation or reservation unit. This restricts reservations at the customer level to a specific unit. Example: During a reservation run, the system will respect this flag on the customer. If it cannot reserve a full line or unit, it will not reserve any. |
Reservation unit | Enter the unit of measure that this customer can reserve in. |
