Budget Tracking
Global order promising > Maintain > Budget tracking
The Budget tracking form displays current (and possibly past) budget tracking records.
These can be used for research or for a current snapshot regarding budget status.
FIELD | DESCRIPTION |

Channel ID | Channel ID associated with this budget tracking record. |
Description | Description of the channel ID. |
Budget period start | Start date/time settings for the current budget tracking records. |
Budget period end | End date/time settings for the current budget tracking records. |
Item number | Item associated with this budget tracking record. |
Configuration/Size/Color/Style | Product dimensions. |
Site | Site associated with the budget tracking record (if Site is used for the associated budget configuration). |
Warehouse | Warehouse associated with the budget tracking record (if Warehouse is used for the associated budget configuration). |
Committed invent quantity | Quantity that has been committed to demand. |
Budget quantity | Overall budget amount. Note This is the Budget percentage column if you are budgeting by percentage (see Channel Budget). |
Budget quantity remaining | Amount of budget left for future demand. |
Budget scope | Scope for this budget tracking record. |
Name | The name of the entity related to the budget scope. Example

Is dynamic | Selected if a dynamic rule is enabled for the budget. |
Dynamic adjustment | Sum of the total increases/decreases for the corresponding budget due to the dynamic rules placed on it. If there are both increases and decreases, this can be negative or positive. When the budget resets on its recurrence, the dynamic settings reset for the next budget record. |
Marked quantity | The sum of the markings for the budget record that were dynamically marked. This information can help keep you from marking over the budgeted amount for the recurrence. Note This field is enabled if a budget is decremented as a result of dynamic marking. |
Budget Tracking from Sales Order
You can also view budget tracking for all order lines on a sales order.
All sales order > Global order promising tab > Budget tracking
Click Budget tracking in the Budget maintenance section on the Global order promising tab to open the Order budget tracking form that displays budget tracking for all order lines on that order.
