New Connection to SCC LTL APIs via F&SCM

Our new, purpose-driven LTL API suite in SCC allows for accurate rating and compliance information to be sent to the carrier.

The API schemas allow you to define the number of handling units and pieces on the shipment, which requires changes to our host system connectors to support.

Formerly, if you wanted to rate, dispatch, or get PRO numbers from SCC, you used these Rate Engine configurations.

The new LTL API is accessible from the Outbound Shipping page in SCC. This page must be enabled by an Accenture resource. In order to interact with the LTL API, you need to set up the LTL Rate Engine.

There are a host of configurations to set up for this new integration suite. Please reach out to your Accenture support representative with questions.

The former integration to SMC³'s LTL APIs and RateWareXL remain functional in our standard API offering, but are in development containment moving forward. All new functionality will be added to the LTL API suite.

New Features

FUNCTION	DESCRIPTION
Endicia Carrier Information	Added support for the Ground Advantage service.
FedEx - Upload Images	Added the ability to upload letterhead and signature images for FedEx and FedEx APIs commercial invoices. This allows you to ship to additional international countries.
Global Configurations	Added the License Files section to the Global Configurations page. This allows you to view all files associated with products you are licensed for and to download license files for your tenant.
LTL API Outbound Shipping Outbound Shipping Integrations	Added the ability to access carriers that are integrated with our LTL APIs through Outbound Shipping. We currently offer integrations with FedEx and SMC³. Note The FedEx integration is the only new functionality here. The SMC³ broker integration has been placed in development containment. We will update compliance issues but not add new feature functionality. All new features are built to the Outbound Shipping functionality. Important Contact your Accenture support representative to enable this functionality.
Menu Changes	Made changes to the navigation menu: Consolidated Manifests and Shipment Queue under Shipments. Consolidated Delivery Calendar, Freight Invoices, Freight Items, and Transportation Tenders under Tenders. Consolidated the business transaction workflow configuration pages. Moved Origin Locations to the Routing Menu. Moved Carrier Groups to the Carrier menu. Note Favorite pages are impacted by this release. You must resave favorite pages after updating to Version 58.
Orchestrate - Demand Validations Demand Validators Validation Policies	Added the ability to create custom business validations, similar to the Order capability. This validation logic provides success or failure messages, depending on whether the demand line passes the logic.
SMC3 Information	Added support for the Volume Pricing API. Added support for several new carriers and carrier services: Diamond Line Delivery Dot-Line Transportation Flock Freight Frozen Food Express Go2 Logistics Mainfreight, Inc North Park Transportation Roadrunner Transportation System Sutton Transport The Custom Companies U.S. Road Freight Express Added several accessorials: Airport at Delivery Airport at Pickup Tradeshow Delivery Tradeshow Pickup Important These new carriers are only available with the Outbound Shipping functionality.

Bug Fixes

FUNCTION	DESCRIPTION
FedEx	Fixed an issue that caused duplicate commodity information to be sent for international shipments.
UPS APIs	Fixed an issue that caused a blank phone number value to be sent when no phone number was added. Fixed an issue that caused a "converting value" error for HazMat shipments.

Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management

Note

The deployable package was built against Finance and Supply Chain Management version 10.0.37, and should be compatible with version 10.0.37 and newer.
The current Supply Chain Cloud Connector is version 2024.5.27.0. This connector works against version 2.4 of the SCC API.

Added the LTL API Link override field to the General tab on SCC Shipping Parameters.
Added the LTL FastTab to the Ship Parameters tab on SCC Shipping Parameters.
Added the ability to select an LTL integration from the Ship Carrier Code field during Shipping Carrier Setup.
Added the ability to view LTL API transaction information on the Supply Chain Cloud Request Log.
