Kickoff & Next Steps for Supply Chain Cloud in D365 F&SCM

Follow these steps to obtain the software and and registration invitations.

1| Pay for Software

Pay for Supply Chain Cloud.

2| Provide Access

Provide the Avanade functional resource access to the environment.

Provide the Avanade technical resource access to VSTS/DevOps as a developer.

3| Provide Primary Tenant Contact

Provide primary contact information for Supply Chain Cloud tenant creation and administration.

  • Name

  • Email Address

  • Phone Number

  • Company Website

Note

The primary user can add additional administrators.

4| Access Items

Once steps 1-3 are complete, you will have access to the following:

  • Software: Navigate to the Downloads page in Supply Chain Cloud.

  • API Key for Your Tenant: Navigate to the Global Configurations page in Supply Chain Cloud.

5| Schedule Meeting

Schedule a meeting between Avanade and the primary Supply Chain Cloud user to ensure they are registered.

Once registration is complete and the software installed, Avanade will walk you through the Supply Chain Cloud + D365 F&SCM Configuration Guide.

Note

If the primary Supply Chain Cloud user is not the primary communication hub user, a separate meeting will be scheduled to complete the onboarding process.

6| Obtain Test Credentials (SHIP)

Work with Avanade to obtain test credentials for configured carriers and services.

7| Identify Business Process

Work with Avanade to identify all business processes that need to be tested as part of the Supply Chain Cloud implementation.
