The Reason Codes page allows you to create, edit, and delete reason codes.

You can then organize reason codes into Reason Code Categories and require a category be defined in order to complete a workflow step.

Reason codes help communicate why values are being adjusted when changes occur in workflow steps.

New or Edit Reason Code

Click New to create a reason code. Click Edit to edit a reason code.

This opens a pop-up window that allows you to name the reason code and assign it to a category.

The Reason Code Category drop-down list is populated with categories configured on the Reason Code Categories page.

Click Add a new Reason Code Category to manually add a category if the desired one does not exist in the Reason Code Category drop-down list.

Delete Reason Code

Select the desired record and click Delete to delete a reason code.

Click OK on the confirmation pop-up window to confirm the deletion.

Import/Export Reason Code

Click Import and select your file(s) to import a reason code.

Select a record and click Export to export a reason code.

Click Export All to export all displayed records.
