Packing Structure

You can access the Packing Structure page from the Active Pallet section of the Pack Station or from the Shipment Queue.

Click Packing Structure to assign your containers to the various pallets.

You can:

  • Create and/or delete containers and pallets.
  • Move containers and pallets to new or existing shipments.
  • Move loose containers to new or existing pallets, or remove them completely.


 Move to Pallet

Select a container and click Move to Pallet to open a pop-up.

Select the pallet you wish to move the container to and click Confirm.

 New Pallet

Click New Pallet to create a pallet.

Select your pallet details and click Save.

 Delete Pallet

Select a pallet and click Delete Pallet to remove it from the packing structure.

You will be asked to confirm that you wish to delete the pallet.

 Remove

Select a container(s) and click Remove to remove it from the pallet.

You will be asked to confirm that you wish to remove the container.

It will become a loose container that you can reassign as needed.

 Select by IDs

Click Select by IDs to open a pop-up that allows you to select containers by container ID.

Enter a comma-separated list of container IDs and click Process to search for those containers.

All found containers are selected on the Packing Structure page.

A warning details any containers that are not found.

 Move to Existing Shipment

Select a container or pallet and click Move to Existing Shipment to open a pop-up.

Select the shipment you wish to move the container/pallet to and click Save.

A container can be moved to any existing shipment that has not been confirmed.

Note

The Container Movement Status Threshold on Transaction Types must be set a status greater than or equal to the business transaction status in order to use this feature.

Important

This functionality is not available for those using a connector to connect to host systems.

 Move to New Shipment

Select a container(s) or pallet(s) and click Move to New Shipment to move the selected items to a new shipment.

The shipment is created in the default status defined by your workflow.

You will see a confirmation that the items moved, then be redirected to the new shipment details page.

Note

The Container Movement Status Threshold on Transaction Types must be set a status greater than or equal to the business transaction status in order to use this feature.
