Time Zone Management

Supply Chain Cloud offers the ability to localize the date/time displayed for each user.

Assign a Time Zone to a Warehouse

You can associate a time zone to a warehouse on the Origin Location page.

(The Hours of Operation calendar and Delivery Calendar respect this time zone.)

If you do not assign your warehouses to a time zone, the system assumes the warehouses use UTC.

Once you assign your warehouses to a time zone, assign your users to their default warehouse.

This allows the system to use the warehouses' time zone configurations for those users.

Assign Users to a Warehouse

Click Associated Users to assign users to a warehouse on the Origin Location page.

Another option is to have each user manually set their time zone on the User Profile page.

Note

Administrators can manually change the default location and time zone for users on the User Management page.

Time Zone Determination

Supply Chain Cloud uses the configured time zone information to determine how to display information on the tendering pages that work with both date and time.

1| If the user is associated with a warehouse, but has a different time zone assigned than the time zone assigned to the warehouse, the user’s time zone will be used.

2| On a tender page where the date/time field is associated with one of your warehouses, the displayed time is based on the local time for that warehouse.

Those fields are:

  • Requested Pickup Date Time
  • Confirmed Pickup Date Time
  • Actual Pickup Date Time
  • Scheduled Arrival Date Time

3| On a tender page where the date/time field is associated with one of your users, the displayed time is based on the time zone for that user.

Those fields are:

  • Requested Delivery Date Time
  • Actual Delivery Date Time
  • Border Crossing Date
