This sample shipment workflow illustrates the lifecycle of a shipment and how the interactions occur between the host and vendor (and possibly the carrier).

It can also interact with related PO business transactions (e.g., delivery of a shipment can update the PO as delivered or partially delivered).

Notice that the details have a general sequence/progression. Each detail has a status to represent where the shipment is in its lifecycle.

There are also low/high status settings that control when a shipment can change to a specific status.
