Overview
FIELD | DESCRIPTION |
|---|---|
Use SCC Device Server | Turn on this toggle to enable the connection to the Supply Chain Cloud Device Server to retrieve scale weight when closing containers. |
Container Manifest
See Container Manifest for configuration options.
When a container is manifested, rating and tracking information is assigned only at the container level.
Shipment Manifest
See Shipment Manifest for configuration options.
A shipment manifest allows multiple containers to be closed but not manifested until the entire shipment is complete.
Note
If you are shipping internationally, we recommend shipment-based manifesting so that you receive a single commercial invoice for each shipment.
Carrier Label Printing
The Carrier label printing FastTab allows you to control whether a label is printed and, if so, the name of the printer to use.
FIELD | DESCRIPTION |
Print container shipping label rule | Select an option from the drop-down list:
|
Printer name | Select the ZPL printer that your label will print on. |
Close Container Profile Print
The Close Container Profile Print FastTab allows you to print from multiple printers, when needed, by assigning a printer to a document type.
For example, you can send commercial invoices to one printer and labels to a ZPL printer.
FIELD | DESCRIPTION |
|---|---|
Document Type | Select the type of document you want to print:
|
Printer name | Select the printer for the specified document type. |
Shipping Label Format | If you select the Shipping Label document type, you can route ZPL and PDF shipping labels if the carrier supports that functionality. Note You must have a printer configured for each shipping label format you plan to use. If a label format is not set up here but the carrier is configured to use that label format, a label will not print. For more information on configuring label types for specific carriers, see the Document Tab section on the carrier configuration pages. |
LTL
Note
This works for LTL Rate Engines only.
The LTL FastTab allows you to configure LTL settings per packing policy.
This will override the SCC Shipping Parameters settings.
Handling Unit Levels
Default Handling Unit: The selected Default Handling Unit defines the size of the handling unit to send to the carrier.
A license plate defines the handling unit and its contents. The containers or items on that license plate define the number of pieces.
Container: The packed Container defines the size of the handling unit to send to the carrier. The items in the container define the pieces.
Parent Container: The Parent Container defines the size of the handling unit to send to the carrier. The containers on that parent container define the pieces.
