Carrier Accessorial Charges

Transportation management > Setup > Rating > Carrier accessorial charges

The Accessorial delivery type field is added to the Carrier accessorial charges form.

This field communicates with Supply Chain Cloud to designate a delivery type for a carrier to use when rating or manifesting.

What are accessorials?

Accessorials are used with Supply Chain Cloud to request additional services.

These are optional services that often incur additional charges.

Important

If the Itemize Carrier Charges feature is enabled, container-level charges received from the carrier are passed into D365 F&SCM.

This means shipment-level itemized charges received from the carrier may not be passed into D365.

See SCC Shipping Parameters for more information on itemized charges.

When a return carrier is specified, the return account assignment credentials are sent along with the request.

Note

  • You will override your Account Assignment configuration if you set this to a different return carrier. In this situation, you must select account assignment records that have the Return toggle turned on.
  • Changes to this table are reflected on the Return Carrier page, and changes to the return information on that page are reflected on this table.
