A party can be a specific person or an organization. Parties hold and maintain contact and document information.

Similar to base Microsoft Dynamics 365 Vendors and Customers, operations and facilities have a 1:1 relationship with a party in Transport + Deliver.

Operations

Click Change party association on the Operation ribbon tab to change an operation's associated party.

Updating an operation's party association removes the existing party and replaces it with the newly selected one.

Facilities

Click Change party association on the ribbon to change a facility's associated party.

Updating a facility's party association removes the existing party and replaces it with the newly selected one.
