Activity Capacity

Transport + Deliver allows you to track an activity's capacity to assist with planning.
Where item and asset dimensions are available, the system displays the percentage of the asset's capacity (weight and volume) that has been filled.
Setup
1| Hold Inventory
Turn on the Hold Inventory toggle on the Logistics Types form.
In order for the capacity calculations to work, the asset's logistics type must be configured to hold inventory.
2| Dimensions
Configure the length, width, and height on the Logistics Types form.
The Volume field on both the Assets form and the Logistics Types form then auto-calculates what the asset can hold, using the configured interior dimensions.
Note
Remember, Assets automatically inherit the dimensions and attributes of their parent logistics type unless defined on the specific asset.
3| Parameters
Turn on the Calculate Activity Capacity toggle on the Parameters form to enable functionality responsible for calculating activity capacity.
4| Operation Parameters
Select Volume or Weight from the Activity Capacity Visualization field on the Operation Parameters form to determine how the capacity for an activity will be visualized on the Load Building Workbench.
5| All Activities
Use the Personalize this page option to add several volume and weight fields to the All Activities form.

You can view activity capacity on several of the workbenches:
Activity Demand Workbench
Activity Resource Workbench
Activity Maintenance
2| Load Building Workbench
Use the toggle on the Load Building Workbench to switch between displaying activity capacity filled percentage based off weight or volume.
Click Weight Visualization or Volume Visualization in the View section of the Activity tab to switch displays.
