The Alert Type configuration allows you to set up individual alerts.
Click New Alert Type to create an alert type.
Click Edit to update an existing alert type.

Enter the name of the alert type. |

Enter a detailed description for the alert type. |
Manual Alert |
Select whether this is a manual alert (not event triggered). A manual alert can be used for general notifications (e.g., system going down for maintenance). |
On By Default |
Select whether you want this alert type on by default. |
Recipient |
Select an option to control whether the internal contact, external contact (trading partner contact), or both are notified when the alert fires. |
Business Transaction Type |
Select the business transaction type for the alert. |
Action Link |
This non-editable field affects navigation when clicking an alert through the bell icon on the top navigation bar. |
Event Triggered |
Select whether the alert type is available when configuring work flow details. |
