You can set up carrier customer accounts if you need to bill shipments to a third-party based on the carrier used.
You can view and edit these account numbers from the customer or from the sales order.

Customer
You can view and/or edit the Carrier customer account number in two places on the customer:

The account-level list displays all configured customer accounts. Enter the third-party account number in the Carrier customer account number field to tell the system which account number to charge when shipping with the specified carrier.
You can set up more than one delivery address per customer per carrier. You can also have an account with a blank delivery location. You can then add a carrier account number for each customer address. This allows you to have several carrier customer accounts for a single customer.

You can only set up one one record per carrier at the address level. You cannot have two records with the same delivery location. You can set up a third-party account for each available carrier.

- Sales order header section in Lines view
- Transportation section in the Header view
