Account Assignments
The Account Assignments page stores credentials and account numbers for interactions with the various carriers' web APIs.
Multiple records can be created for an individual carrier to handle different situations.
Example
If different credentials are desired when shipping to a specific customer, a record can be set up for that situation that is separate from the credentials used most of the time.
New or Edit Account Assignment
Click New to create an account assignment record. Click Edit to edit a current record.
This opens a pop-up window that is divided into three sections:
- Selection Criteria
- Test Credentials
- Production Credentials
Note
If you are using UPS Ready, the fields you can edit are limited.
See Manage UPS Credentials for more information on activating or deactivating UPS Ready.

The Selection Criteria section is evaluated when credentials are needed.
