Work Templates

Warehouse management > Setup > Work > Work templates

Work templates are necessary to create structured work (Pick and Put actions).

You can configure a work template to load an activity in reverse stop sequence order.

This makes it easier to load the final stop in the back and the first stop in the front so that you are ready to unload in the sequence of planned stops.

Configure Reverse Stop Loading Sequence

Select the Enable Shipment for Sorting? option on the Work templates form.

Click Edit query in the ribbon to open the table corresponding to the selected work type.

Note

This functionality supports several work types:

  • Purchase orders

  • Sales orders

  • Transfer issue

  • Transfer receipt

  • Return orders

  • Logistics Inbound

  • Logistics Outbound

The Shipments table has been added to the Joins.

When sorting, select the Shipments table and sort by Stop number for loads, and select Descending for the search direction.

Now, when Activity to Load triggers the picking work, it is created in reverse order of stop sequence from the activity lines.
