Budget Exception Dashboard
Global order promising > Maintain > Budget exception dashboard
The Budget exception dashboard displays current and past budget exceptions that happen during the reservation process.
It allows you to take actions against the exceptions for the desired business scenarios.
FIELD | DESCRIPTION |

Channel ID | Channel ID associated with this budget exception record. |
Demand order type | Order type associated with this budget exception. |
Order Number | The order number for the budget exception. |
Item Number | The item number for the budget exception. |
Demand quantity | The original channel demand quantity. |
Quantity satisfied | The amount that was able to be reserved. |
Ship Date Time | Either the actual shipping date or requested shipping date (if no actual shipping date is filled on the demand line). |
Profit margin | The percentage profit margin for the demand line. |
Quantity exceeded | The amount the budget is exceeded by. |
Unit of Measure | The UOM of quantity the budget is exceeded by. |
Budget scope | The scope for the budget line. |
Action performed | Indicates the action performed against the budget exception line. |
Created date and time | Date/time that the budget exception was created. |
Buttons
BUTTON | DESCRIPTION |

Approve exceed | Click this button to approve the budget exception and attempt to reserve the channel demand unless there is another budget exception preventing the reservation. |
Deny | Click this button to deny the budget exception but leave the quantity open on the demand line (which may get picked up in a future run or after budgets reset). |
Deny and cancel remainder | Click this button to deny the budget exception and cancel the remainder on the demand line (the remaining quantity will not get fulfilled). |
Channel budget | Click this button to open the Channel Budget form for this particular budget exception. |
Channel demand | Click this button to open the the Channel Demand form for this particular budget exception. |
Budget tracking | Click this button to open the Budget Tracking record for this particular budget exception. |
