Demand Validators

The Demand Validators configuration page allows you to create custom business validations, similar to the Order capability.

This validation logic provides success or failure messages, depending on whether the demand line passes the logic.

You can also create Demand Validation Policies that detail out validations that should run and how the system should behave when validation fails.

Demand Validators

The left side of the page displays a list of all demand validators.

You can create, edit, or delete a validator. Use the search box to find a validator.

New or Edit Demand Validator

Click New to create a demand validator. Click Edit to edit an existing demand validator.

Select the desired record and click Delete to delete a demand validator.

Click OK on the confirmation pop-up window to confirm the deletion.

Demand Validator Details

The right side of the page displays details for the selected validator.

The validator details define a field or attribute, a comparison operator, and a comparison value.

Click New to create a demand validator detail. Click Edit to edit an existing demand validator detail.

FIELD	DESCRIPTION
Field	Select a field name. Note Both field name and attribute should not be filled in; select one or the other.
Attribute	Select an attribute for the validator. Note Both field name and attribute should not be filled in; select one or the other.
Comparison Operator	Select the comparison operator for the validator: Equal Greater Than Less Than
Comparison Value	Enter a value for the comparison operator to test against.

Select the desired record and click Delete to delete a demand validator detail.

Click OK on the confirmation pop-up window to confirm the deletion.

Select Import to import a validator detail from an Excel spreadsheet.

Select a record(s) and click Export to export a validator detail to an Excel spreadsheet.

Select Export All to export all displayed validator details to an Excel spreadsheet.
