Validation Policies

The Demand Validation Policies configuration page allows you to create policies for Demand Validators.

Demand validation policies detail out validations that should run and how the system should behave when validation fails.


 Demand Validation Policies

The left side of the page displays a list of all demand validation policies.

You can create, edit, or delete a validation policy. Use the search box to find a policy.

New or Edit Demand Validation Policy

Click New to create a demand validation policy. Click Edit to edit an existing demand validation policy.

Delete Demand Validation Policy

Select the desired record and click Delete to delete a demand validation policy.

Click OK on the confirmation pop-up window to confirm the deletion.


 Demand Validation Policy Details

The right side of the page displays details for the selected demand validation policy.

The policy details define which validations should run for this demand validation policy and which order to run them in.

New or Edit Demand Validator Detail

Click New to create a demand validation policy detail. Click Edit to edit an existing demand validation policy detail.

FIELDDESCRIPTION
Demand Validator

Select the Demand Validator that should run for this demand validation policy.

Continue On Error

Turn on this toggle to continue running validations once there is a failure.

Delete Demand Validation Policy Detail

Select the desired record and click Delete to delete a demand validation policy detail.

Click OK on the confirmation pop-up window to confirm the deletion.

Import or Export Demand Validation Policy Detail

Select Import to import a validation policy detail from an Excel spreadsheet.

Select a record(s) and click Export to export a validation policy detail to an Excel spreadsheet.

Select Export All to export all displayed policy details to an Excel spreadsheet.

Move Up/Down

Use the Move Up and Move Down buttons to rearrange the policy processing sequence.
