Workflow Channels

The Workflow Channels page allows you to create, edit, or delete workflow channels.

Workflow channels define information needed to connect to external systems. 

They can be connected to individual workflow details to interact with an external system when those details execute.

Create or Edit Channel

Click New to create a channel, then select the type of channel you wish to create.

You can also select a channel in the list and click Edit to edit the channel.

FIELDDESCRIPTION
NameThe name of the channel.
DescriptionA description of the channel.
CompanyThe D365 company to use when calling D365 integration methods (specified on individual workflow details).
TenantThe Azure Active Directory tenant for the connection.
Resource URLThe URL for the D365 instance.
Application IDThe Application ID set while setting up an application registration in Azure Active Directory.
Client SecretThe key set while setting up an Application ID in Azure Active Directory.

FIELDDESCRIPTION
NameThe name of the channel.
DescriptionA description of the channel.
URLThe URL to execute the API function.
Request Headers
NewClick this button to add API details.
KeyThe access key to authenticate with the API management service.
ValueThe value for the access key.
ConfirmClick this button to save any changes.
CancelClick this button to clear any changes.

Delete Channel

Select a record in the list and click Delete to delete the channel.

You will be asked to confirm that you want to delete the channel. Click OK to remove the channel.
