Packing Profiles Setup

A packing profile can be assigned to a worker(s) so that default values, including Container Packing Policies, are populated when the user enters the packing station.
You can create a packing profile for each physical packing station.
Important
We recommend setting a packing profile for each station, and each profile should have a container packing policy that points to a specific printer. This ensures each station has an assigned printer.
The Packing profiles form allows you to create or edit packing profiles.

| Packing profile ID | Enter a packing profile name. |
| Description | Enter a detailed packing profile description. |
| Container packing policy | Select a container packing policy for this profile. See Container Packing Policies for more information. |
| Container ID mode | Select a mode:
Note We recommend selecting Auto. |
| Container type | Select the default container type that will be used with this packing profile. |
| Autocreate container at container close | Select this checkbox to automatically create a container once the previous container is closed. |
| Default carrier group | Select the default carrier group for rate shopping. |
| Override shipment carrier group | Select this checkbox if the packing profile's default carrier group should be prioritized over the shipment's carrier group when rate shopping from the Pack Form. |
