Pack Form

Select Packing Station

Warehouse management > Packing and containerization > Pack

Fill in your packing information and click OK.

Important

You must have a worker assigned to your user in order to use the Pack form.

Note

The packing profile dictates how the shipment will be manifested (e.g., shipment packing policy, container packing policy, auto-print labels, etc.).

See Container Manifest or Shipment Manifest for more information.

On the Pack form, enter the corresponding details in the License plate or shipment field.

The Packing Station Location section auto-populates with your configured settings.

New Container

Click New container in the ribbon.

Select your container type and click OK.

Item Packing

Navigate to the Item packing section.

Change the Quantity field, if needed, and then select an option from the Identifier drop-down list to pack the selected number of units of that item.

The items appear in the Open Lines section, which displays the packed quantity and the remaining quantity.

You may click Pack on the top ribbon to pack all remaining inventory into the container, if desired.

Close Container

Click Close container in the ribbon.

On the Close container flyout window:

  • Click Get system weight to retrieve the system weight, then click OK.
  • Click Get scale weight to retrieve the scale weight from the Supply Chain Cloud Device Server, then click OK.

Important

You must turn on the Use SCC Device Server toggle on the Container Packing Policies page to use this functionality.

Note

With container-based manifesting, when you click OK, a label is printed for that container.

The example above is shipment-based manifesting, so when you click OK, it simply closes the container.
