Future Ship Date Setup

Future ship date functionality is primarily set up in Supply Chain Cloud. See Future Ship Date for more information.

To use future ship date functionality, you must set up an origin location that ties to a warehouse in D365 F&SCM.

D365 F&SCM

Inventory management > Setup > Inventory breakdown > Warehouses

Set up a warehouse and take note of the Warehouse field. You will need this value when setting up an origin location in Supply Chain Cloud.

Configurations > Carrier > Advanced > Origin Locations

In Supply Chain Cloud, open the Origin Locations page and click New to set up your warehouse.

Select a time zone for your location and enter your Warehouse field value from D365 F&SCM in the Host System Reference field.
