Worker Operation Profiles
Logistics Execution > Setup > Workers > Users > Worker Operation Profiles
Set up a worker operation profile to enable specific users for an operation.
An employee can be associated to any number of operations, and in varying roles per each operation. This allows the worker to be configured per operation.
Click Worker Operation Profiles on the ribbon.
This opens the Worker Operation Profiles form.
Worker operation profiles assigned to parent operations will, similar to attributes, be inherited by children. If necessary, however, an inherited profile can be removed manually from the child.
Only profiles associated with the operation are available for assignment.
If an operation is disabled, you can choose to:
- Remove all profiles associated with the disabled operation and its children.
- Maintain the setup and leave the profile(s) in a dormant state. This functionality is for useful when the disablement is temporary.
Note
An operation must have at least one operational profile associated with it in order to be enabled. If problems arise from enabling an operation, check if there is a profile assigned to it.
Operation Enablement
When first created, all operations are inherently disabled for each user.
Enabling an operation enables its children. The same applies for disabling.
The first operation enabled is automatically set as the default. You can manually change the default operation, but it must be associated with the company that functions as the default company.
