Actions
Logistics Execution > Setup > Activities & Actions > Actions
Actions assist you in processing logistics orders and activities from start to finish.
Similar to other setups, actions are fully customizable to the client's operation.
Header Section
FIELD | DESCRIPTION |
---|---|

|

Allowed Statuses for Activity Section
Displays a list of permissible activity statuses.
Allowed Statuses Section
Set up criteria for when an action may be executed based on the statuses of involved objects.
If criteria are not set, all statuses are permitted; otherwise the object's status must be of one of the permitted statuses.
Automated Actions Section
To process activities more efficiently, you can set actions to automatically trigger in association with each other.
Example
- When a driver departs a shipping location, the trailer is considered loaded. An automated action can mark the trailer as loaded once the Depart macro is processed.
- An automated action can check whether proof of delivery is required once the Depart macro is processed. If no proof of delivery has been captured, the app can alert the driver that they must capture an image or signature before leaving the location.
Automated actions are created as normal actions but are then associated as a child action through the parent action's form.
Automated actions can be scheduled to be executed before or after their parent action.
Constraints Section
Specify constraint IDs that apply to the action.
The Constraint Restriction field controls whether validation fails (Prevent) or a warning is issued (Warn).
These constraints are checked during activity validation.
Failure Status Results Section
Displays a list of failure status results.
Limited Asset Reservation Section
Allows temporary assets (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) to be released or reserved because of the action.
Successful Status Results Section
Displays a list of successful status results.
