Logistics Execution > Setup > Assets
Assets represent the equipment used within an operation to execute activities.
The Asset form displays all assets for the active operation. You can assign network information, physical dimensions, and attributes to individual assets.
Displayed assets are filtered by the selection in the tree grid. Select the root node to display all operations.
Header Section
| FIELD | DESCRIPTION |

| Asset ID | A unique Identifier for the asset. |
| Description | Description of the asset. |
| Current Activity | Displays the activity the asset is paired to. |
| Status ID | The current state of the asset. |
| Logistics Type | Displays the logistics type of the asset. |
| External Device ID | Allows a secondary ID to be entered for the asset. This is primarily used for interfacing and mapping with external device systems. |
| Asset Type | Indicates that the asset is unique, limited, or unlimited. |
| Effective | The beginning effective date/time for the asset. |
| Expiration | The expiration date/time for the asset. |
General Section
This section allows configurations specific to the asset type.
Network Section
This section displays the parent operation, operation, and facilities assigned to the asset.
Physical Dimensions Section
This section displays physical dimensions.
Attributes Section
This section displays a list of associated attributes.
