FedEx International Broker Select®
Supply Chain Cloud includes the ability to define an address as a broker address.
If a shipment has this customer designation, the system sends the broker information in the API request.
Select the Broker Declaration carrier accessorial to send the broker information to FedEx.
This is useful for customers that prefer to use their own broker for international shipments.
All Customers
Accounts receivable > Customers > All customers > select a customer
Edit a customer address and select a broker purpose to designate it as a broker address.
(You can set up a broker purpose on the Address and contact information purpose form.)
Select Advanced from the More options menu to add the Broker Type and Broke Account Number to the customer address.
SCC Shipping Parameters
Supply Chain Cloud > Setup > Supply Chain Cloud Parameters
Select the purpose that designates this as a broker address, if applicable.
If a shipment has this designation, the system sends the broker information in the API request.
Carrier Accessorial Charges
Transportation management > Setup > Rating > Carrier accessorial charges
Select the Broker Declaration accessorial to indicate the shipment has a designated broker.
The system sends the broker information to FedEx.
